Back from vacation!
Hi all! Mel here, resident artist of the GENDER book and the one that updates this blog. I took a little (big) journey to Juneau this Summer, and had a blast, and am now back in the bay and ready to get back to work on the GENDER book. My compatriots and the book’s co-creators recently led a workshop at the Texas Transgender Health Summit while I was getting philosophical at rest stop restrooms in British Columbia.

Next steps:
Finish the last two pages of the book
Fix all the footnotes and misc typos
Assemble the glossary and index
Put into an indesign file and fix gutters/margins
Decide on paper and print methods
Rouse our army of gender justice (more on this soon)
Kickstarter to raise funds
Print the limited edition first run of the book!
